Goat Colostrum
Colostrum is the milk produced within three days after the production of ewes. Its main component is protein, which has the function of enhancing immunity, promoting calcium, absorbing and supplementing protein and vitamin. Infants often drink it, can improve the immunity and disease resistance of infants, and it is very beneficial to the brain development and intelligence of infants, and also promote the growth and development of gastrointestinal and liver organs. The colostrum can also keep women in good shape, supplement the nutrients they need, and relieve tension and stabilize their mental state.
The fat content of goat milk is higher than that of human milk and cow milk. The fat ball diameter of goat milk is small and the specific surface area is large. Generally speaking, the volume of the fat ball of goat milk is one third of that of cow milk, so it is easier to digest and absorb and decompose the fat. The fat in the composition of goat milk is mainly composed of medium chain and short chain fatty acids, of which 15% of them are medium chain fatty acids, while only 5% in milk. Medium chain and short chain fatty acids are more easily digested and absorbed by human lipases than long-chain fatty acids. They can be absorbed directly in the small intestine without the digestion of pancreatic enzymes and bile salts. Therefore, the fat of goat milk is more easily digested and absorbed by human body, and the digestibility can reach 94% - 98%[1]
