Bifidobacterium breve B-3
Bifidobacterium is a kind of beneficial bacteria which has been deeply studied. It naturally exists in human intestines.
There are many kinds of bifidobacteria, and like other kinds of probiotics, different strains have different health effects.
Bifidobacterium breve is one of bifidobacteria, which is usually found in the intestines of newborn infants.
B-3 is a stable Bifidobacterium breve strain at room temperature, which has been proved to support all aspects of healthy metabolism [1] [2].
Published scientific studies have shown that B-3 has the following functions:
·Compared with baseline, 12 week supplementation can promote weight loss [3] [4]
·Compared with baseline and placebo, 12 week supplementation reduced body fat [3] [4]
·Support healthy liver function [5]
··Lower serum cholesterol level [3] [4]

Functions:
Mechanism:
Bifidobacterium brevis B-3 can promote intestinal health in a variety of ways, including:
·It can restore the barrier function of intestinal epithelial cells and insulin secretion by preventing the invasion of proinflammatory factors [3] [4]
·Inhibition of inflammation through cellular components and metabolites [3] [4]
·Promote liver oxidation and lipolysis [5]
·Acetic acid controls blood glucose and fat accumulation through gpr43 short chain fatty acid receptor [3] [4]
Safety:
Safety is crucial for vulnerable groups (such as the elderly and infants). Oral toxicity test and a large number of clinical studies have confirmed the safety of oral Bifidobacterium brevis B-3, and no adverse reactions were found among the subjects [3] [4] [5] [6].
